The movie director Zach Lona from good old Bolingbrook, IL has approached me about being interviewed for his documentary film about the HIDDEN MAN. This is very exciting. I will be interested to see what he does with it, not being from Hidden Lakes. I am unsure if someone not from here will “get” it. The day before yesterday I was out walking my blue tick hound Trace (yes after Mr. Atkins), along the banks of the crick deep in them woods off yonder. Suddenly Tracey just took off like a banshee. I never saw that hound run with such a constitutional as he scampered barking like crazy until he was out of sight. I was thinking well, THANK YOU Trace, leaving me here all alone in these woods, at sunset, with it getting dark, all by my lonesome. It was a late on a Friday night and I had just finished my shift at the DQ (one of the strip malls near Willow) and I was hustling out the door to get to my car. It’s a pretty big parking lot, but they want employees park sort of towards the back on the side farthest from the restaurants so that the customers have the more convenient spots with the shorter walk to their food.
